Please remember that traffic will be heavier than usual as more than 1,600 students and hundreds of staff members arrive on campus at the same time. If possible, leave a few minutes early so you can arrive without feeling rushed.
We also encourage students to log into Aeries and double-check their class schedules the evening before school starts. Our counseling team works incredibly hard to build schedules, but occasional last-minute changes are sometimes necessary as students enroll, move, or adjust their classes.
If you're new to Del Oro, don't worry. You'll see lots of staff members throughout campus ready to welcome you, answer questions, and help you find your way. We will also have stations set up around campus where every student can pick up their first-day T-shirt featuring this year's school theme, Our Future is Golden.
Most importantly, remember that the first day is about more than finding classrooms. It is the beginning of a new year filled with new opportunities. Introduce yourself to a classmate you haven't met, get to know your teachers, and begin building the relationships that will make Del Oro feel like home. Starting the year by reaching out to others, asking questions, and getting involved is one of the best ways to set yourself up for a great year.
